Three boulders fell on a bus parking bay at the lower Table Mountain cableway station at 8.20 am yesterday morning, the cableway company said.
The boulders fell before the cableway was opened for business at 8.30 am, according to a statement on the company’s website.
No one was injured in the incident, and cableway CEO Sabine Lehmann said there had not been a rockfall at the lower station since the cableway opened for business in 1929.
