Inyati Game Reserve

Location

Locals to the Kruger and Mphumalanga areas know that Inyati means “Buffalo” in the traditional Shangaan language, but to us it means luxury, relaxation and great game viewing.

Inyati Private Game Reserve is located within the Sabi Sands area and is home to the Big Five. Chalets and Executive Chalets have been decorated to reflex style and comfort and because there are only 10 chalets you will get that personal attention you deserve.

Game drives leave at sunrise and the evening game drives at sunset and include a stop to enjoy some lovely sundowners. There is more than 10,000 hectares to explore and you can be sure that your qualified guides will do everything in their power to ensure you spot the Big Five.

A typical two-day safari at Inyati looks as follows:

Day 1:
12:00PM Arrive at Inyati Private Game Reserve for check in and a welcome drink
12:15PM Your guide will escort you to your chalet on the banks of the Sand River. You will have some time to freshen up.
13:00PM Pre-lunch drinks are served on the main patio where you might spot a few animals while getting to know your guide and other guests.
14:00PM Lunch is served buffet style alfresco in the beautiful gardens and surrounded by nature.
The afternoon is for you to spend at leisure relaxing by the pool or having a well deserved nap – part of any good holiday.
16:30PM The beat of the African Drums invite you for tea/ coffee on the patio. Directly after this it’s time to get ready for your afternoon Safari. You will set off in open landrovers as you prepare to spot the Big Five.
Besides the Big Five you might be lucky and get to see a live
kill, keep your eyes open.
18:30PM A relaxing stop for sundowners and then you continue in the search for nocturnal animals.
20:30PM Upon your return you will have an opportunity to freshen up before joining your fellow bush mates for a dinner in the outside Boma. Campfire stories will flow together with some lovely wine as you all recount the events of the day.

Day 2:
05:00AM Wake up call!!!
05:30AM The African Drums welcome you to a lovely cup of coffee or tea before you depart on your morning game drive.
09:00AM Having worked up a nice healthy appetite you will return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast.
10:30AM With breakfast completed you might want to enjoy a nature walk or maybe you prefer to just relax for a while before checking out and departing from the tranquility that you have experienced here at Inyati Private Game Reserve.

This is a just a sample to wet your appetite. You are welcome to stay on a few more days to enjoy the African hospitality the is part of Inyati.
