Adrenaline sailing at its best! Hobie Cat trips and charters include a qualified skipper and we offer flexible sailing programs from one hour up to a few days. You don’t need any previous experience. If you are experienced and just want to take the boat for the day we have options available as well. We have a 14ft, 16ft and 18ft available for chartering. Drum Africa is the only Hobie Cat school and charter company in South Africa teaching on a 16ft and 18ft Hobie Cat from the beautiful and picturesque Langebaan lagoon.
As one of the only Hobie Cat Sailing schools in South Africa, Drum Africa's Hobie courses are the way to go. Our courses are designed so that you can decide if this sport is really for you. Once you have made up your mind, we ensure that you learn everything about the sport. From safety to rigging, derigging, sailing and of course maintenace of your boat.
Should you wish to take it further and start competing in this sport we will assist you with this also. There are many rules to racing and we will work through these with you and give you need to know to get started.
